Project description

The 1.8 MWp Severn Road project, near Bristol, was built for Bristol City Council, in December 2015, on an old Shell Oil depot and active wind farm site.  Benu Energy surveyed the site, completed a detailed design, discharged the planning conditions and installed 6,912 Hanwha Q Cells 260 Wp modules which were mounted on Sadef sliding structures attached to concrete ballast blocks.  We installed security fencing, CCTV, full solar park monitoring and landscape planting to screen the site from public view.
