Project description

The 748 kWp Moorend project, near Bristol, was built for South Gloucestershire Council, in December 2015, on an old sewage works site.  Benu Energy surveyed the site, completed a detailed design, discharged the planning conditions and installed 2,415 Hanwha Q Cells 310 Wp modules which were mounted on Pradecon substructures and piled into the ground.  We installed security fencing, CCTV, full solar park monitoring and landscape planting to screen the site from the M4.
